RESFEST
This year marks the 10th anniversary of ResFest, a pioneering film and digital arts festival that showcases cutting-edge shorts, music videos, experimental animation and ground-breaking motion graphics. The fest kicked off an incredible 45-city tour in October in Paris, France and will be visiting the U.S. in March and April 2007. Recent years have highlighted work by Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze and famed music video director, Mark Romanek (Beck, Weezer, Madonna, Jay-Z). The founders of ResFest also produce the bi-monthly Res Magazine, which is always ahead of the artistic curve on what’s interesting and innovative. Tip: Subscription copies include a DVD featuring hard-to-find work by top-notch directors and artists that cannot be bought in stores.
